SON cimarrón
It is a group that mixes sounds from the Colombian South Pacific region. Its name is a mixture between flavor and resistance, 'cimarrón' makes meaning to an aromatic herb that is cultivated in Buenaventura to make delicious gastronomic dishes and is also given to refer to the slaves who freed themselves and organized themselves in palenques.
Son cimarrón , it has always been integrated by children and young people up to 18 years of age, throughout its three generations being a musical training hotbed. His main musical genres are given by the southern Pacific region of Colombia (Bunde, currulao, juga and patacoré) and some from the North Pacific (abozao and levanta polvo), also contains his own repertoire having four discographic albums in his career ('El encanto de la ley 70', 'Un canto a la bahía', 'Voces por mi protección' and 'El niñito Dios porteño').
